One question we receive frequently is what's the difference between Subscription Box Kid's "The Preschool Box" and Kiwico's "Koala Crate"?
The truth is that it is a bit of an apples and oranges comparison, in fact many people subscribe to both boxes!
The Preschool Box
Our goal with The Preschool Box is to provide a 12 month experience that builds knowledge and grows with your child. We start with the basics: letters, numbers and colors... and over the course of 12 months we steadily expand to teach more skills.
The Preschool Box is for kids ages 3-5, which is the perfect time to start introducing preschoolers to learning concepts that they will see in school.
Reading is one of the most important skills in early education so The Preschool Box comes with a new book in every box that is sure to excite and entertain your preschooler.
All in, each Preschool Box has more than 16 activities for you and your preschooler to enjoy. The materials are prepped and ready to go so learning time is fun time and you can make sure your little one spends at least 15 minutes a day with fun learning activities.
Crafts are always a big hit with preschoolers and The Preschool Box includes 4 crafts each month that will help with fine motor control like cutting and gluing and give your kid practice and confidence in doing "school work".

Kiwico's Koala Crate

The Koala Crate is best for kids a little earlier in their journey, aiming for kids ages 2-4, than The Preschool Box.
